Question about calling for AP scores- question for someone who called in past years..

<p>I didn’t call for AP scores in previous years, but I’m going to this year. When you call and give them your name, AP #, etc…do they just say your scores really quickly, or does it give you time to write them down and quickly mentally recover from it if it’s bad before going to the next score?</p>

<p>The entire system is automated. You enter AP number plus birthday/SS number for identification. You then enter a credit card number plus the security code on the back.</p>

<p>Then, an automated voice tells you (fairly slowly) each score. You can press a certain button to repeat a score as many times as you want or you just let the computer move on to the next score.</p>

<p>If you are curious, you are given the scores in the order you took the tests, though I’m not sure about late-testing ones; they may actually be given in the order the original tests were scheduled.</p>

<p>^ok, thanks, that’s helpful if they go in the order you took the tests. I took them all during the standard testing time- no late tests, so scores should go in order then for Psych, Spanish Lang, Calc AB, English Lit, & Euro like that.</p>

This is false. Scores last year were read in a seemingly random order; it was neither alphabetical nor by the order of tests taken.</p>

<p>^Yeah, I agree; I think it was Calc, French, Euro, Physics for me last year, which was in no real order.</p>

<p>It’s probably in the order they were graded and then uploaded into the computer or w/e.</p>

Oh, I just assumed they were in order since my three were in order. I suppose it was just coincidence then.</p>

<p>There is enough time. I don’t think you would actually forget them, unless you’re taking like 16, but if you want to you can press the button to repeat the score as many times as you wish.</p>

<p>I’d recommend you have a list of your AP exams written down with a space for your scores so you can jot down your scores as they are read/repeated.</p>

<p>Last year my scores were told to me in order of my taking them. I hope it’s the same this year; I am not especially anxious to hear my AP Physics C Mech score. It can wait another minute.</p>

<p>^Just check CC religiously starting June 28th or 29th. When scores start being posted, you know you can call.</p>
