question about chemical engineering

do chemical engineers follow the 40 hrs/week pattern like other engineering disciplines?

I know hardly any discipline follows it and they have to work more than that depending on other factors. am i right here?

is it like chemical engineers have an off just once a week?
do they follow the usual 40-50 hrs/week pattern ?

thanks

no one familiar with chemical engineering here?

It’s because your questions are pretty silly. It really depends on what your chemical engineering position is.

okay let me put it this way-how many hours per week do chemical engineers hired with just a bachelors degree work?
assume that hes been working as a chemical engineer since just a few months.

I think 40 hr/weeks are standard in most Engineering fields but those 40 hours go by very slow and its more of a “go at your own pace” if you know how to manage your time well on projects.

haha begineer you should change your name into “seneer” when you get old lol

kindly advise me which is the best undergrad major in engineering for sustainable development as a whole including clean energy esp. fuel cells, smart grid, transportation systems, manufacturing etc. my dream is to be a technology entrepreneur in these areas. i am very good in physics and chemistry…i am considering chemical engineering and EECS…i am equally interested in both but i want to keep my options really broad.
