Question about class choice

I am currently a student majoring in accounting and taking the required pre-med courses in order to apply to medical school. I decided to take a cell biology course when I first signed up for classes. However, my pre-med advisor suggested that I take a genetics course instead, but this course is full, and it does not look like I will be able to get into the course. If I take cell biology versus genetics will this adversely effect me much? Should I take cell biology, and then take genetics at a later date?

You only need a full year of bio for med school. Anything else is extra. In your situation either class is fine and you should take the one you will like most so you can get the highest grade possible.

A full year of bio with lab.
