<p>At my current school, a large university with general education requirements, I chose to take Italian I as an elective this semester (I’m a freshman) since it was something that had never previously been available to me. However, given the amount of required courses that I still have to take (about 4) I decided not to continue with Italian, especially since I’ve already finished my foreign languge requirement through AP French. Does starting and not continuing a language look bad? Should I make an effort to continue Italian?</p>
