Question about colleges. :O

I know some universities only look at the Math and Critical Reading sections of the SAT. (Georgetown)
Is there a list of these colleges?
It’d be much better for me, as my writing score is much lower than my math and CR. >_>

Also, which colleges do not require additional essay supplements for their applications? Does it say so on their websites?

Thanks!

I’m not sure about your first question but from what I know, all colleges look at writing scores. I don’t think a bad score would necessarily lower your chances since the critical reading and math sections are the most important.

I can give you some information on which colleges require supplements.

Look here: https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/SupplementInfo.aspx

If you don’t like writing supplements then stay away from NYU, Grinnell, Oberlin, and U of Chicago. I hated those XD.

The University of Chicago doesn’t look at SAT Writing, but their essays are notorious for being tough, so take your pick. If you’re a confident and effective writer, take a look at https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/admissions/essays.shtml

Thanks for the help!

Well, I’ll prob stay away from UChicago then. :stuck_out_tongue:
Not too confident in my writing abilities.

Any other colleges with relatively simple supplements? / don’t count writing as much?
