Hello, My child received notification that her application decision is deferred pending submission of semester 1 grades. Additionally, the school requests she submit additional SAT/ACT scores. She was able to take the SAT September 2020 but has not been able to retest. The school would like this information in 3 weeks. Another university she was accepted to asked for both current and past test scores which she provided. The 2020 score was higher than her 2019. She felt comfortable sending in her scores because there was significant improvement. even though they were test optional institutions. My question is, for the university deferring her, should the 2019 scores be sent because it’s all she has? Has anyone else experienced this scenario? Her semester 1 grades remain strong, she’s just not sure what to do about the scores.
