Question about EOP/HEOP

*Sorry if this is in the wrong topic - I wasn’t exactly sure where this belonged.

All this time I thought HEOP and EOP were based on the student’s SAT score and his/her family’s financial income. I do I believe I qualify for the latter, and for my SAT score - maybe for some schools.
But apparently GPA also applies to the EOP/HEOP decision, so now I think I’m screwed because my GPA is a 4.0

Does this mean I won’t be qualified for EOP/HEOP?
Also, I tried searching for the average statistics on the school’s official website for the EOP/HEOP programs but I can’t really find them so I can’t tell if my stats are too high or not (if GPA really does turn out to be a requirement, then I guess I’m no longer eligible for any of the EOP programs I applied for… Gosh I feel so dumb)

So yeah, I guess I just need someone to confirm my suspicion… :frowning:

You need to be educationally disadvantaged. Would you be admitted under your schools’ normal admissions standards? See http://heop.org/guideline/
