<p>I was hoping there would be an open-ended essay in which I could talk about my interest for Cornell…unfortunately there isn’t. I had an idea: why not write about it for the intellectual interest essay? It’s interest for Cornell, which is an INTELLECTUAL institution…haha. Feasible? Totally stupid? Some feedback would be nice, thx.</p>
<p>Eh…I don’t think it’s what they’re looking for. SA#2 is much more suited to a “I <3 Cornell” gushfest. [How will you utilize the academic programs in the school you selected above…blah, blah]</p>
<p>I don’t think it would work either. The thing with SA#2 is that I see it more as “why did you pick this college as opposed to others” and it talks more about what I’m going to do rather than why I want to attend. Hmmm…</p>

<p>no not really…you can use it to write about yourlove for cornell. B/c academic opportuinites may include everything from classes…to clubs…to organizations to even the facilities. So you can basically write about anything. I wrote about how my school was small so i never had a chance to really explore my interests too much so the research opportunities at cornell are great. Also I’m a Muslim and cornell has a big Muslim community and also I grew up around Cornell so i’ve always wanted to go back. You can kind of mold it into saying what you want.</p>
