question about explaining academic gap

<p>UCSD asked me to explain about my academic gap and provide unofficial transcript. </p>

<p>while i wasnt in high school, i attended a small private educational institute where i studied for GED and korean SAT equivalent exam.</p>

<p>the problem is that the transcripts are not available in English. what should i do?</p>

<p>i aksed this question to UCSD and they replied with a few words within hours:
“you have five days to response”</p>

<p>Yes, send them. If you speak English well enough, provide a translation (but indicate that you translated them yourself). Whatever you do, do send the original, non-English version. I’m sure there’s someone at UCSD who speaks Korean (or whatever language the transcript is in).</p>
