In the finance concentration at Wharton is there an emphasis on fundamental analysis or technical analysis when it comes to investing securities, just curious, it seems as though all “serious” investors would go the fundamental route.

Definitely fundamental analysis.

In fact, if you want to do technical analysis, it’s probably better to go to a school with good math/programming.

Yeah, I kind of figured Wharton would be more heavy on fundamentals, I find both interesting and feel that both have their merits so I don’t think that Wharton’s heavy focus on fundamentals will make me choose a different school. Is there a negative stigma attached to tech. analysis at Wharton, like among the faculty and student body.
