How hard is it to get into Gallatin with respect to CAS? I have heard that they care a lot about your EC’s, is this true?</p>
<p>It really depends on what you want to do. You need to be able to articulate well what it is that you want to do with your Gallatin essay, and from what I observed last year, ECs are a big part of that. I got in early decision, and let me tell you - I spent so much time on my essay. My ECs weren’t all that great, but there was definitely commitment shown (editorial positions, team captain, student council officer). I used the short answer section to explain a lot about what I wanted from Gallatin, both directly and indirectly.</p>
