<p>Also, I only have one average, there’s none of this weighted/unweighted stuff. Would my guidance counselor know it?</p>

<li><p>Many schools don’t provide a weighted GPA. You’re not alone. Colleges are perfectly capable of handling this situation (and usually prefer the unweighted GPA anyway).</p></li>
<li><p>Your counselor will provide all the information the admissions officers need to understand your school’s GPA system on the forms he/she fills out and/or in the School Profile he/she sends.</p></li>
