In canadian system, there s only A , B, C+ and so on, and I got 3 B’s and 5 A’s in my junior in an extremly competitive IB full diploma program. Even though our school doesn’t rank or do GPA, my counsellor ticked top 10% under academic achievement, does it mean an auto reject from Dartmouth?

Automatic reject? Hell no. It does mean it’s hard to tell what your chances will be, but Dartmouth won’t automatically reject you with grades like that for IB, and a top 10% ranking.

Thanks~ after seeing so many poeple with 4.0 UW GPA, and a guy rejected because his rank is not high enough, I am really hesitant about whether it s good choice to apply to Dartmouth.

You can’t say why those people were rejected - for all you know it was for reasons that had nothing to do with GPA or rank.
