<p>I’m an international student and I’m filling up those athletic forms on school websites and some of these ask for transcripts. (yes I’m applying this year and I know its late but I’m just trying my luck- even a small boost in admissions and I’ll be happy). However, my grades don’t look good at all in the American sense as I have mostly D grades. But my school practices grade deflation in internal exams and when the final external exam results are released suddenly something like half the school gets an A and its because my school is very competitive. The thing is we don’t get out final exam results when we apply. How am I supposed to explain this or is it only if the coaches ask?</p>
<p>This is true in other countries too and should be explained on the school profile and/or guidance counselor comments</p>
