Question about Hon GChem

If my major is BME, do i still have to take honors gchem and lab?

lab is more the issue, corn wasn’t bad at all, but i think its really stupid that edwards puts honors on a different curve than regular (from what i heard). i got a friggin’ B+ in that…

question is, can i drop hon gchem and lab, and take the h1b and h1Lb?

You were never required to take honors courses as a BME major.

I am currently a CHP EE major freshman student and I did take Honors GChem for the Fall Quarter but I do not need to take the second quarter since my major only requires one quarter of GChem.

In the beginning of Fall Quarter, I also had a concern about whether I needed to take more quarters of Honors GChem to fufill the Science Core requirement.

Thus, I sent an email to Mary, the CHP Advisor about this issue and she replied that I needed to take as many quarters of Honors GChem as my major requires.
So, for BME, that would be three quarters of GChem.
But, she also said that Engineering students do not need to fufill the Science Core at all, so I guess that would mean that it is okay to take Regular GChem next quarter.

So, I would ask Mary about this issue to confirm if it is okay to take Regular GChem for next quarter.
