Question about Housing and Orientation

When do you pick if you want a single or triple, or do you get to at all? Are there only singles and triples in the scholars floor housing? (I’m in Warren)

When is orientation usually / when do most people move down there?

I think you put that down when you do your questionnaire later on this month. At least, that is what I hear. As for if its only on the scholars floor I’m not sure.

They should have dates for Orientation. I read on the John Muir website that orientation has a bunch of different sessions from about June 20 to a week or two later. And when you find out about who you’ll room with and all that other stuff, they’ll assign you a date to move in on.

You will make your selection in June.

It depends on your college. I believe Warren’s orientation is in September in the days before move-in.

Warren has only one orientation which takes place right after move in day.

oh the site is actually already up

^Thanks for the correction I’m not too familiar with Warren.

hmm, i have a question about orientation
i’m in Muir and was thinking of going to either the june20-21 or june 22-23 orientation
is it better to go on a wknd or a weekday? or does it not matter?

also, i read that parents come to orientation too. how does that work?

thanks in advance!

thx for the link strongbadfan =) i didnt even know there was a math placement test but thankfully i dont have to take it yayyyy (got 650 exactly on the math 2 sat 2 test lol)

You can choose between single/triple around mid-May, and I think Warren only have singles & triples. Maybe doubles for overflow, not sure :/

When do we sign up for classes? During orientation? I’m in Marshall if that helps, thank you!
