I took the SATs in October and got scores that I am happy with, but I know I could do better. However, the day of the Saturday SATs, a certain person woke me up several hours early, argued with me, gave me a horrible day. Predictably, I did not do nearly as well as I did in October. The colleges I am applying to do not know this. Will they disregard this score?

I don’t think they’ll care about your own problems. Your cause may be legitimate, but if the colleges accepted people making excuses like that they’d also have to take the excuses of people who potentially could be lying. Don’t worry about it, I retook the SAT II like 7 times, lol so if they really don’t like bad scores they’re going to have a field day with me.

I know, I don’t expect them to consider the reason (I’m not even gonna tell them). I’m just wondering if they will only look at the highest scores.
