Question about loans..

I don’t really know how loans work. My parents paid for my undergrad education, but I am going to be responsible for my law school education. I am obviously not going to work my first year of school, and I am not sure if I can get financial help from my parents, but are you able to take out loans that include enough money for living expenses (i.e. rent, food, gas, other bills, etc.)? Or do the loans have to go right to the payments for school? I really don’t know how student loans work.

You can usually take out student loans for as much as you need to cover all your costs, including living expenses
