Question about LSA Course Guide

So right now I’m enrolled in an 8-9 AM MWF Spanish course and I’m not a morning person AT ALL but that was the only time the course was offered where I was guaranteed to be in it so I took it. However, the more I think about it, the more horrible it sounds because I can’t get out of bed earlier than noon (or at least thats how it’s been this summer) and I’m coming from the west coast so the time change will throw me off a lot.

Basically my question is this: How hard is it to switch into different sections/times of a course? I’m looking at the LSA Course Guide for Spanish 276

[LSA Course Guide: Spanish 276](<a href=“U-M Weblogin - Stale Request”>U-M Weblogin - Stale Request)

and namely I’m looking at Section 017 where it says Open seats: 6 UGRD and only 3 on the waitlist, yet enrollment is closed. So is that just an error with the system, or are those 3 people on the waitlist going to get in, meaning I could probably get in the class too? Or if anyone has any experience with trying to get in to classes when you’re not on the waitlist (since I can’t enroll for Spanish 276 and then be on the waitlist for another Spanish 276 class), how hard is it to get in? Will they not give me priority since I’m already enrolled in a Spanish 276 course?
