Which Professor for Math 3B would you recommend?
-Professor Vilenchik or Professor Richardson? (Neither were on Bruinwalk or RatemyProfessors)

Also, For GE’s if I take a Visual and Performing arts GE for one quarter and already had my social and cultural GE covered(for humanities), I am left with one more Arts and Humanities GE. The DPR says I need to take 15 units of Arts and Humanities but I took 10 so far, will I have to take the last 5 units on Philosophical Humanities GE or can I take another Visual and Performing Arts GE instead?

I honestly don’t think it really matters. It’s math - you either know it or you don’t. It’s basically integration which is pretty easy, and it’s the 3 series, so it should be really easy… I’d choose whatever fits into your schedule…

For 3A I had a very easy teacher and ended up with an A because of the straight-forwardness of the tests. My friends who took the other 3A teacher offered, struggled more, and even though they knew roughly the same amount as me, they ended up with a lower grade because of that teacher’s grading/curving scale.

For 3B I took a very hard teacher and it was probably a very bad decision. I knew how to do every homework problems, and could figure out the questions on the practice midterms, but the midterms we got consisted of stuff we’ve never seen before.

My advice is to ask around at school. But if they are new teachers, it will be hard to get feedback.
