<p>Okay… Next year as a senior I was going to take 4 AP Classes and self study AP Psychology- even though my school offers the course. The reason for doing this is because I wanted to take band. If I self study, will that hurt me? I don’t think it will… also, I was wondering if taking only 7 AP classes is considered good enough to go to schools such as Stanford, USC, etc. Any comments/experiences are appreciated! Thanks.</p>

<p>7 APs is good for Stanford and USC. I talked to an admissions counselor from USC and he told me that 3 AP classes are good enough, that surprised me. So you’re okay. :)</p>
