<p>The test type for Naviance for my school is SAT (1600) by default, and it shows the accepted averages and everything. But when I switch it to SAT (2400 with writing) suddenly the accepted average for GPA is a lot higher. Why? Isn’t it the same test?</p>

<p>because the 1600 scale includes the ACT students as well. all schools post both the act submitters and the sat submitters on the 1600 and then the sat in 2400 is reserved for only sat takers</p>
