Question about Penn State Application

<p>One of the questions on there asked </p>

<p>Have you ever pleaded guilty or no contest, participated in a presentencing diversion program and/or been convicted of a criminal offense, or are there criminal charges pending against you at this time?</p>

<p>I committed truancy in 6th grade, and went to truancy court in 7th grade. So, does that constitute as a criminal charge?</p>

<p>I’d ask your counselor about that one. But if she advises you to include it, don’t worry, thats so long ago it won’t have any bearing on your application regardless.</p>
