Hi! I’m a senior about to film my pre-screens, so I’ve been double-checking all the requirements, but I have a question specifically about the slates.
Some schools list that they want a separate slate video, but others say that they want a slate at the beginning of each piece and then go straight into the piece, no cuts. However, some schools say they want a slate at the beginning of the piece, but don’t specify if they want cuts or not. What should I do in these scenarios? Should I submit the perscreen with no cut between slate and the piece, or should I film a separate slate and cut to the piece? Or am I overthinking things?
