Does anyone know what type of questions they tend to ask in these interviews? I’ve been invited to interview and I have to turn in a sheet listing four topics I feel strongly about and five books that are significant to me. The sheet says to be prepared to discuss the books/topics I choose. If anyone has any information about how in depth the questions that they tend to ask are, that would be much appreciated!
Thanks so much!

Be sure you actually have read the books you list! And choose topics that you are both knowledgable and passionate about. These interviews are designed to reveal information about you on a deeper level - both your knowledge and your interests. What are you passionate about? What gets you excited to get up in the morning? Show them what you’re made of!

If a Presidential finalist is not awarded the scholarship does the finalist receive some other scholarship such as the Dedman or BAA instead? I am assuming all finalists have already been awarded a Second Century Scholarship for $20,000 per year.

Has anyone been awarded more funds who did not received PS?

Will someone please answer the question posted about any additional scholarship for those not awarded Pres. Thank you.

Most merit awards have been given out. There are the primary merit awards sent with your acceptance: Second Century, Founders, Provost & possibly another. There are departmental scholarships if you are Business, Engineering and Meadows. In Engineering, you can receive up to 3 merit scholarships, I believe. On top of that is the Hunt Scholarship. The issue is whether the scholarships all stack. You need to call Financial aid to verify. Good Luck!
