Question about Prompt 2...

Hi guys,

For the 2nd prompt, I’ve been thinking about writing on the death of my parents when I was 17. I’ve been a slacker in HS, but after their death, I’ve been more motivated to go to college than ever before. But, would this be a suitable topic for prompt 2? It seems to ask people to talk about their strengths etc but I’m not sure.

Absolutely. It was obviously adversity you faced. Show them how it impacted you and how you persevered.
