<p>i got over the resentment, my parents didnt complain and im one of the top ten people of the class so i guess its not THAT bad. and what do u mean number oneS plural? thats stupid. at my school there’s only one #1 and one #2 and no one is tied for any rank.</p>
<p>D’s class (juniors) has 750 kids…there are about 8 kids tied for number 1. Sophomore class has 5 numbers 1s. For this reason, no valedictorian/salutatorian.</p>

<p>Jenskate: Nope, sorry if I was unclear. I was trying to say that Rice automatically gives a NMS to anyone attending their school who is a NMF, and who hasn’t already received a NMS. DD got a NMCorp sponsored one, so didn’t get a Rice sponsored one.</p>
