question about reporting fall semester grades for deferred applicants

My high school just changed from block scheduling to a year long schedule. Calculus was taught previously in two semesters, AB and BC. This year though, it is taught in a year long course of BC. So if I was applying last year, I would have a mid year grade (the grade for the AB course, and I would get a grade for the BC course in the spring). This year, however, there is no “official grade” that I have right now; I do not get an “official, permanent grade” until the end of the year. Rather, this grade is just a progress report. I did REALLY well in calculus, getting a 98 in the first half of the year. What would be the best way to report this to Tech?

You report your grade to this point. If you have a year long schedule you probably have quarter grades, right?

thanks for replying, but i had my councilor call the Tech admissions people and they said just to report my current grade in calculus even though it’s not an official grade.
