I want to apply to Cornell’s ALS for an education major. I have many ECs geared towards education and I can stress that on my application. However, Cornell strongly recommends a math and sci SAT II. My math score is very strong, along with my history score (both high 700s), but my physics score is 550. My counselor noted the reason in her rec (I hope!) but will this affect my admissions? I’m not pursuing a science major but the ALS requirements recommend a science SAT.

Am I better of applying to arts and sciences? I can choose a good major there too…
