Question about residency requirements

<p>I’m a US citizen living in Canada for a few years, I plan on moving back to the US (Florida most likely) and wanted to know if I start attending college right away I know I’ll be paying out of state fees, but do my fees change to in-state after residing in Florida for a year or do I pay out of state fees until I finish college?</p>

<p>Usually not, but every public university I’ve ever investigated publishes its residency criteria online. Google “resident tuition” along with the names of universities you’re interested in.</p>
