Hi,
I’m a sophomore CS major at UC Berkeley. I’ve never did a side project in college but did 2 java games in high school, including a bow and arrow hunting game which implemented alot of math and physics. The other game is alot simpler, bassically a replilca of space invaders Besides that, I also included two of my most important, at least IMO, CS class projects in my resume.
- Should I keep my high school side projects on my resume?
- If I take them off, should I add in more class projects? I have a few friends who recommend against adding class projects since they’re too cliche and everyone did them.
- Or perhaps I cut out the distinction between side projects and class projects, list them as all just “projects”. I"ll still say I did those side projects in high school but with no clear distinctions, perhaps employers won’t ask why I didn’t do more side projects in college.
I’m also building an android tetris app ATM, so I’ll definitely put that on my resume in the coming weeks once I’m done with that.
