Question about signing up for classes in Phase 1 (Haas)

So I have three classes that I’m required to take next semester for Haas- UGBA 101A, 102A, and 106. I am also going to be taking Educ186. I can’t sign up for classes for Phase 1 until July 2nd and then obviously only for 10 units.

That being said, should I sign up for the required classes first, or sign up for two of the required and Educ 186 to make sure I get in??

Does Haas hold spaces in the required classes for their students? Or is it a first come, first served kind of thing? I want to make sure I get the required classes, but I really want to take Educ 186 as it looks really interesting.

thanks.

Haas classes are first come, first served for those with Haas majors so you never have to worry about competing for spots in classes with non-majors. You have priority in getting those UGBA classes. Sign for the EDU class and 2 other UGBA classes (since they are all 3 units). Definitely sign up for 106 first. Since 101A and 102A have multiple lectures, 106 will get full the fastest.

"Seats have been reserved for:

Undergraduate students and Students in the Haas School of Business (Open) "

on the class schedule indicates who has priority in registration.

Thanks for the info, sparetire. I really appreciate it!!
