Question about Spring Admit

I am currently a college freshman, but I am unhappy with the university I selected thus far. Back when I was applying to schools I received admission to the spring semester of a school and am now very much considering that school in favor of my current one.

My question is, because I chose a different college to attend did I fore forfeit my place for the upcoming semester or would my decision to attend a different school be equated with going to a community college for instance. If I recall correctly I was not asked to fill out any extra paper work when I received my spring admittance and was simply told that I was accepted for the second semester.

If my place is not held how would I go about filling out a transfer application when they ask for things such as a college transcript which I can’t provide (even providing my high school one could prove challenging).

Thanks for any information that can be provided!

Bump? BUmp?

As for your first question, call the admissions office and ask.

Bump Bump bump

What was the deadline that you would need to notify the school whether you are going to attend? For example, admission for the fall, the colleges needed to know by May 1. If you didn’t notify them, they may have given up your spot if they have a waitlist. It is wise to call the school to find out for sure.
