<p>I want to do my MA in education in US universities. I have done some volunteer works regarding the disabled people. Do you think i should mention them in my SOP even though what i have done does not relate to my major? I know that i can mention one of them and tell them how it inflenced me. But i want to know for sure whether it is ok to mention them.

No matter how different your intellectual or other relevant experiences may be, seek out some way to bring everything together as a coherent whole. This is tricky and difficult but everything can be described as part of one sort of process or development or another; there are always underlying connections.</p>
