<p>For this prompt, is it off topic to actually compare apples and oranges using the category/categories we decide? Or are we just supposed to discuss how they are supposed to be compared and not actually compare them?</p>
<p>No one can answer your question. It’s up to you.</p>
<p>As general advice, I will just say this. The “point” of the uncommon essay is not to reach or or push or even exceed the boundaries of what is expected. Nor is it to set new boundaries. This my personal opinion. It’s vague and it might not even make sense, but if you think about it you’ll understand what I’m trying to get at…</p>
<p>How you write your essay is up to you and no one, including the admissions counselors, will be able to say what is right or wrong or what should be done.</p>
