Question concerning studying abroad

Hello,

I am a native born citizen of the USA and am looking into getting my Bachelors Degree in China and enrolling as an actual student there(not through an exchange program through a USA college).
However, I have a question concerning my current US address. When I go to China to study, what will happen to my address in the USA? Will I have to change my address to China?
Only reason why I ask, is because I live alone in an apartment currently, and when I move to China to study, I will no longer have any physical address in the USA. Is it necessary to even still have an address in the USA when I study in China?

where’s the best place to study abroad fashion business.

What about Milan?

@wilnicho, people who are studying internationally typically use the address of family or friends as a mailing address., but there is no requirement to have an address in the US.

But.

12 months ago you were US citizen enrolled in a US university, looking at doing a Masters in Germany, then perhaps doing a second undergraduate degree (perhaps in Japan), and then a PhD somewhere in Europe, where you plan to be a college professor.

Then 10 months ago you were in community college in VA, worried about losing in-state residency if you went to work in NJ for 9 months before transferring to UVa.

Now you want to go do an undergraduate degree in China. Somehow, I think that having a US mailing address is not the biggest challenge in this picture.

@Henrios you need to start your own thread, not highjack somebody else’s…
