question for a friend about physics test

I chickened out of the physics test so I have no idea how difficult it is. Most of my friends said that unless you had taken AP it would be too difficult. What if you were to audit a community college physics course, but not actually take the lab portion. Would you be able to gain enough knowledge to score well?

Yes. I did not take the AP level; in fact, the year I took physics was the first year my school offered it (we’re still quite young) and while I have studied a lot of theoretical material in and out of class, I have had very little formal lab experience. I scored 800 on the test.
