<p>Are you paying rent in full for August? It seems a little strange that you have to pay for a full month even though you’re only there for 9 or so days.</p>
<p>I had to pay for August rent up front and the move in date is August 21st. Next payment due September 1st. Since the deposit, application fees were waived I didn’t question the full months rent with only 9 days. If I had to pay deposit and application fee I would have requested a pro-rated rent for the first month.</p>
<p>This practice seems to be a norm for student housing.</p>
<p>Does anyone know of places close to campus that are for rent and are unfurnished</p>
