Question for CC Foodies: Where to find Maille 747 mustard?

Since CC parents are all renaissance men/women, here’s my dilemma: I have found Maille 1747 mustard–which is NOT the same as plain old Maille mustard–and I adore it. I’m running out. Does anyone have a source from which I can order more?

I have faith in all of you!!

I can’t even find it on their website – does it go by another name?

[Maille: mustards, vinegars, recipes… The all Maille !](http://www.maille.us/pages/products.aspx?sid=1)

Did you purchase this here in the U.S.? I understand that one can purchase several mustards “on tap” in their shops in France.

I have searched online (as have you, I am sure) with no luck.

If you find a source, please PM me! We LOVE good mustards here.

Not the cheapest answer, but I’m pretty sure you can order it from Fauchon.

[Our Brands](http://www.unilever800.com/unileverone/productlocator.asp?step=2&brand=Maille)

I put in my zip & found 5 stores local to me.

I love Amora mustard. It’s the best with pot-au-feu. Available through Amazon.com.
Also try Pommery moutarde de Meaux.

The 1747 mustard is not typically sold in the U.S., and I assume that why it’s not on their website. It is slightly spicier than the “Dijon Originale” that you can get here. I bought it from an online provider, whose name I can’t remember–aarrrggghhh. Time to go back through the credit card records to see if I can find it.

Its one of those things I snatch up last minute Duty Free at CDG from Paris. But its been two years and Im all out as well. Perhaps you could all subsidize a trip for me to Paris and I will pay you back with mustard.
please…?

Don’t know if this might suffice, but there are a number of French Mustards in the catalog at this local treasure-the Mustard Museum. They might be able to steer you in the right direction, as they carry others of that brand, and are a small, personal sort of business.

[French Mustards](http://www.mustardmuseum.com/category/30/a)

^^ I don’t know if the Mustard Museum still publishes a catalogue but it used to be hilarious. Worth reading even if you don’t buy something every time.

Yes, the above link was taken from the catalog. Even an educational tie in, so appropriate here, right? Poupon U.

For all you mustard fans, I can now answer my own question! I ordered the Maille 1747 mustard from saveurdujour.com, but the product is not currently on their website. I sent an email asking about it, and I got a response saying they would have the mustard in stock next month and they would put aside some for me–and they say the French aren’t nice!
