question for current Pitt students about courses

okay so doing pre-pharmacy (cond. acceptance) and ive been given a list of required courses i have to take in my first 2 years. approx how hard is each one based on personal experience/which semesters would you decide to take them?

general bio 1 and 2(w/ lab) 8 credits
general chem 1 and 2 (w/ lab) 8 credits
organic chem 1 and 2 (w/ lab) 8 credits
eng comp 6 credits
calculus 3-4 credits
statistics 3-4 credits
psychology 3
econ 3
and i have 18 free credits of electives which i’ll use for spanish or history b/c they interest me.

oh and i’ll have ap credit so i’ll place out of calc 1 and most likely one eng comp course so do i just fill those credits with whatever?

I’ve only taken a few of these.

Psych: pretty easy any way you slice it. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Econ: I took micro, which was relatively easy. However, it was mainly the professor that made the course; others may have a more difficult time.
Comp: I’m in Comp: Film, which is pretty enjoyable. You do have to write 4-5 papers throughout the semester, along with response papers (shorter) and revisions of previous essays.

If I had to rank them in terms of difficulty:

Econ > Comp > Psych

I would say Ochem will be the toughest per child who is currently tackling it (professor is not so great).

Pandem, who was the professor that made the course for you in microecon?
