question for current USF students

I am a rising senior and am interested in attending USF for their accelderated medical program through the honors collge. I have a few questions for students who go to USF:

What are the general education requirements you have to take? (history classes, math classes, art, science, etc.)

How many students are in your biggest class/ smallest class, and what subject are those?

What is the format of how grades are given in each class?

I would appreciate any answers and advice from personal experiences.
Thanks!!!

1) When you ask about gen-ed requirements, do you mean high school courses required for you to be accepted, or the college courses that will be part of your major? High school requirements can be found on the Admissions page, and gen ed’s for your degree can be found in the 2011-2012 USF course catalog (they vary slightly by major).

2) Class size varies a LOT. When I was an undergrad, my smallest class was an Honors course of about 10 students (the Honors classes tend to be very small and interactive). Larger classes were typically my main science courses, like Gen Chem and Organic… these usually had around 250 students, although it may have changed by now (I was an undergrad from 2005-2009).

3) Grades also vary by class. Some are pass/fail, some are A-F with the plus/minus system, and others are A-F without any plusses or minuses. It is up to each professor.

I hope that answers your questions!
