Question for students with roots in India

Hi, I’m a parent visiting the high school board in search of a word for a story. When a girl with a not terribly assimilated Indian family, living and attending high school in the U.S., is told by her parents that they don’t want her dating any of the high school boys whom they consider bad influences, what is a word the parents might use to describe the boys? As in, “I don’t want you dating any of those XYZ boys!” What would XYZ be? Thanks!

“American” would be appropriate :stuck_out_tongue:
Out of curiosity, as someone with Indian roots, why do you, sorry, ‘these parents’, not want their daughter to date ‘these boys’

Lafange ladke = bad boys

Thanks AstroBlue and aniruddhc. Very helpful. Would it be correct to use both “lafange ladke” and “American boys” together in a sentence (as in “those lafange ladke American boys”) or would that be redundant?

(Astro – If I had Indian roots, I wouldn’t need help in finding the right word or phrase!)

Also, do you happen to know the language of origin of “lafange ladke”? I just googled it and ended up on what looks to be a Pakistani students’ site in Canada.
