Question from a Transfer Prospect

<p>I’m applying as a transfer…posted this in transfer forum and didn’t get any responses. If anyone’s gone through the process before, your help is appreciated:</p>

<p>First of all - I freakin love Wesleyan. They (and WUSTL) are always polite, and I was able to check my material status online already - everything i’ve sent has been received…interviews are also already available.</p>

<p>But I was checking what they haven’t received yet and it says “peer reference (optional).” What is that? And should I send one in or does it matter?</p>

<p>hmmm that title should have been prospective transfer I guess…oops. :D</p>

<p>A peer reference could be a letter from a personal friend, someone you know outside of school or have worked with. I think it’s to give the adcom a better handle on you as an individual.</p>
