Question on a CR strategy

is it right that we can (generally) skip paraphrases that don’t contain line references and still have all the information needed to answer questions?

For the short passages, definitely not true. You’ll see a lot of “the primary purpose of the passage is to…” questions. And “as opposed to the author of passage one, the author of passage two…”

For the longer passages, it’s usually, if not always, true.

thanks. another question i want to ask is: which tense do we use when we tell a story? some people use present tense, while others tell me it’s past tense. i’m a bit confused.

I realize that your question has already been answered. However, can you clarify what you were trying to state, withoutdoubt? (This is just for other interested students。)

i’d love to help other interested students, but i don’t really get you. what do you mean by “clarify what you were trying to state”? i personally don’t see something that needs clarifying. anyways, my second question hasn’t been answered.

An example of “paraphrases that don’t contain line references…” Can you be a little more specific?

ah yeah, by that i meant paraphrases that don’t have any lines mentioned in the questions.

anyone please help me with CR sections that have 3 passage-based parts. i always run out of time at the end of the second.

bumpppppppp
