Question on college course...

<p>I was wondering about an issue, it happened to a guy I know. He got kicked out of one of his class because he missed 2 days of class(his prof only allow 1 day). Now, his prof said that he won’t be allowed back to his class unless he wait 2 years. Now, the guy is allowed to go to other classes, and get those credits…but the class he got kicked out of is his one of he graduation-req. class. So he can’t really graduate unless he have that credit, but the prof won’t allow him back. The guy I’m talking about is a Senior at UT-Austin.</p>

<p>What’s I’m asking is, is his prof allowed to do that ? And should he switch major this late of his college path ?</p>

<p>Well his prof can do that but he can take the problem to the dean of his school. Some courses however will not accept it…(medical) but I think that the prof is mean and that a normal human being will not do that to a graduating student…</p>
