Question on cr (come people who score high in it)

are you completely sure you didn’t have the lawyer question?
it was about a certified lawyer in his native country supporting himself by dancing while going to harvard…
becuase it’s really strange if you didn’t have it, since you were one short in may too…

this one question in math that i had in june was different than all the other tests just slightly.

the answer was 10/7

instead of 7/10

so i dunno maybe collegeboard does this to check if the test somehow leaked out?

The lawyer named in that question is [Ruben Blades](Rubén Blades - Wikipedia), a panamanian salsa singer…he is currently the Tourism Minister of that country…

Gyros, you’re not special. You didn’t have a question from CB all to yourself. You had the harvard lawyer question. You also have a bad memory.

Now get off this board, you’re killing my brain cells and giving me a headache.

i got an 800 last time and i put

appreciation
ongoing relationship
mouth. – i’ve heard the reasoning for profile, and i 110% back mouth still. last line of the first passage makes that pretty clear

Appreciation

Ongoing Relationship

Mouth
730 CR

I scored a 760 in January, and I seem to be the only one who put unconcern. At first I had appreciation, but when I looked back, the author wasn’t praising the ecosystem provided by the downtown area. He was saying something more like, I don’t think the downtown is as bad as others say; trash and soda cans can become small ecosystems for some animals.

There was no appreciation for the downtown area involved. Throughout the whole essay, there was appreciation for the city ecosystem, but this question specifically referred to some lines in which he lacks concern over the damaging effects that others claim come from the downtown area.

Well the reason I put it is because it was something that supported his point and i thought something that supported your point would be something positive. Appreciation seemed to me the only one that was positive. Didn’t someone find this essay or something?

I scored a 720 last time, and I’m completely with Darth Raid3r on the unconcerned over appreciation. He was simply attempting to disprove the idea that the ecosystem was something other than nature…in order for him to “appreciate” the city ecosystem, he would need to have at some point said it was especially good. He said no such thing, he merely said that it was natural. In saying that it was natural, he is implying that one should not worry about it. Therefore, he was unconcerned, not appreciative

Many people on this site seem to believe that unconcerned meant indifferent, in which case it would not make sense for him to write a paper on this subject. I however, thought that by unconcerned it was meant–literally–not concerned; therefore, I’m standing by this answer

Karch don’t be a ***** please. I am tired of being ridiculed for this same problem on the MAY SAT. **** you if you are going to ***** at me. Don’t post in the thread if you are going to say something like that.
Jyankee and darth what did you put for the other 2?

Man I guess discussing this is pointless… we will get our scores anyhow. I mean our answers are set in stone and we won’t be able to change em >.<.

unconcern

ongoing relationship

mouth

Yeah…I love arguing on CC even though no matter what we say, the answers are already determined…it’s funny

Its just that people want to be ascertain the answers that they put… i don’t blame them… its just so strange though how we argue so much.
