Question on difficulty of Biology AP exam..

Hi,

I’m in grade 11 and I’m taking AP for biology.

I was just wondering, how difficult will the AP exam be?

For example, right now, we’re learning cell parts, and lets say the exam asks about the functions of smooth ER…

will it require just the basic functions (like detoxifying poisons, creating hormones, etc), or does it require the specifics (like the exact chemical names and processes for each function).

Thanks,
Jim

Go to your local Barnes and Noble…they have they SATII study guides. You can check out the bio one.

It’s detailed… around as detailed as the CliffsAP book.

It’s obviously tough, but the AP Bio exam isn’t a killer exam at all.

It’s a tough exam, but the curve is easy. You also can gain easy points on the FR by writing down everything you know.

Basically either you know the material or you don’t. If you know the material, the exam is easy. If you slacked off and didn’t read the book then well, the exam will be hard.
