Grammatrix recommands to read as little as possible.
so i guess they mean to read the first and last paragraphs only and go to the quesion.
i understand the logic behind it. (u have to read part of passages again anyway so by not reading it u save a lot of times for quesions)
but i am not sure if it is a safe/right way of doing CR. can anyone anwer this?

It is only one way to do it, and personally feel, by trying every method that is out there, you use what works for you. If you find it is saving you time and you are getting nearly all of them right doing it this way, then use it, if you get more wrong then try another method.

What really helped me put this entire test into perspective and what they are trying to weed out is something my mom told me. she has taken many standardized tests for her profession, there IS ONLY ONE answer, 99% of the time, 3 of them are absolutely wrong, and you can see why they are wrong as there are errors in those 3, either the info was NEVER mentioned in the passage, or it is making a very specific strong statement, in other words giving information that was not asked at all or too opinionated. The trick is picking the right one from the remaining 2 that are more similar to each other than the other 3. If you can work thru all the practice tests, and narrow it down to 2 answers all the time, then work on a method for yourself to figure out from those two answers, remember their is SOMETHING in the right answer that IS NOT in the other choice, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS.

Wow, thank you so much samiamy!! Great advice!

the thing is i get mixed results for using the strategy.
