<p>I was involved in a car accident when I was 10 years old and received money from the car insurance (less than $17,000). The money however is under a guardian account, which means that I cannot touch the money till I’m 18. Do i need to report this income and will it affect my financial aid?</p>
<p>Who is the guardian? If it is one of your parents, I believe THEY will need to report it.</p>
