Question on Spanish House

As I was filling out my housing application, I became interested in the Language houses, especially the Spanish House, since I want to study Spanish. So How does Spanish House work?

Do I have to live in a specific dorm full-time in which everyone is only allowed to speak Spanish? If so, what is that dorm and how is it? Is it better compared to other dorms? How many freshmen reside in the Spanish House? Is it homogeneous of Hispanics? Or do people from other races compose a huge portion of it? I just don’t want to feel left alone.

One of my guides in UNC told me that he was part of the Spanish Theme at UNC.
He is also an avid Salsa dancer. Normaly, the “Themed Housing” live on a floor and all the rooms are taken by the people who are part of the theme, in this case Spanish. They have a meeting where they have to speak in spanish once a week, always sunday nights.
Always homecooking and they’re are many spanish activities, especially the dance team where they dance merengue, bachanga, and salsa.
Anyone can join the them housing. its a perfect way to speak it as well.
Normally, the theme housing are located in the middle campus.
So if you think that you’ll get homesick and miss your heritage, this is for you.
